Over the past six months, the DGvet-30 partnership has taken major steps toward transforming vocational education across Europe by equipping students with essential digital and green skills. This third newsletter issue highlights international exchanges, newly developed learning resources, and practical tools deployed for live energy monitoring.

Representatives from the DGVET-30 project participated in the webinar "Beyond Stereotypes: Women Across All Vocational Education and Training Programmes" to discuss strategies for promoting gender equality, overcoming stereotypes, and encouraging female participation in technical and vocational fields across Europe.

Zubieta VET school hosted 15 students from the Craft Nation network to complete the Danish module "Renewable Energy Solutions" and test teaching materials developed under the DGVET-30 project.

Under the Erasmus+ KA121 accreditation, a five-teacher technical team conducted job-shadowing activities in Spain—visiting Zubieta Lanbide Eskola, Tknika, and the LCAMP Conference—to examine renewable energy, Industry 4.0, and innovative vocational education models for the DGVET-30 project.

Project representatives participated in the KA220 Cooperation Partnerships Monitoring Seminar in Madrid, organized by SEPIE, where they shared management practices from the DGVET-30 project during a roundtable discussion and received training on Erasmus+ project closure.

As part of the DGvet-30 project, Academia has deployed a live electricity consumption monitoring system to track real-time energy use and integrate data-driven sustainability into vocational training.

Scuola Centrale Formazione and Fondazione Green are developing VET educational modules in electrical engineering fundamentals to teach students how to implement real-time energy monitoring networks and manage renewable energy systems.

During a vocational education conference in Vitoria-Gasteiz, the DG-VET30 project was showcased at the "Project Dissemination Day" on April 23rd, attracting strong interest from European schools for its practical sustainability training materials.

The Digital Green Consumption-30 (DGvet-30) project continues to advance its mission of building greener, smarter, and more inclusive vocational education across Europe. Since the start of 2025, partners from Spain (Basque Country), Italy, Slovenia, and Türkiye have been actively collaborating on new activities focused on sustainability, digital transformation, and gender equality in VET.

The Digital Green Consumption-30 (DGvet-30) project officially began in November 2024, marking the start of an inspiring three-year Erasmus+ partnership between Spain (Basque Country), Italy, Slovenia, and Türkiye.

The information event of the Erasmus+ KA220 – DGVET-30 (Digital Green Consumption-30) project which has been approved by the Spanish National Agency, was held on 14 January 2026 at Karaman/Merkez Temizel-Ünlü Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi school’s Computer Department. 

On 29 October, CIFP USURBIL LHII received a visit from three members of the National VET Team.

From 4 to 12 November, we had the opportunity to present our project to a group of six students and two teachers from Deltion College (Netherlands), who were participating in a student exchange in the Renewable Energies program.

As part of the DG-VET-30 project, Academia – Higher Vocational College in Maribor – has successfully carried out the first pilot implementation of smart solutions for the digitalization and energy optimization of the learning environment.

The partners of the ERASMUS+ project DigitalGreenConsumption-30 gathered on October 2 and 3, 2025, at Zubieta Lanbide Eskola in Spain (Basque Country) to chart a sustainable future for vocational education.

On July 3rd, at Tknika – Basque VET Applied Research Centre, the European project DGvet-30 (Digital Green Consumption) was presented to representatives of technical schools, teachers, and various stakeholders interested in educational innovation.
