Technical Education and Cooperation Review in Spain
Innovative Steps in International Vocational Education
As part of the Erasmus+ KA121 Vocational Education Accreditation, our school conducted a comprehensive job-shadowing activity in Spain between April 20-23, 2026. Our technical team, consisting of five teachers, examined innovative education models in the Basque Country firsthand, contributing to the objectives of our project.
Zubieta Lanbide Eskola: Industry and Education Integration
On the first day of the program, we visited Zubieta Lanbide Eskola, the host institution and coordinator of our DGVET-30 project. During the visit, technical information was gathered regarding the school's management models and its strong cooperation protocols with the industry. Our team examined works on renewable energy systems, solar panels, and wind turbines. Additionally, practical insights were gained regarding PLC systems and robotic arm applications used in the field of industrial control.
Tknika: The Future of Vocational Education and R&D
On the second day, our team participated in seminars and working groups focused on the future of technical education at Tknika, the center for innovation in vocational training. High-tech areas such as R&D laboratories, smart home systems, and hydroponic farming applications were visited. A mutual exchange of experience was carried out on how the educational curriculum is dynamically updated according to market needs.
LCAMP Conference 2026: Industry 4.0 Vision
On the third day of the activity, we attended the international LCAMP Conference, which brings together vocational education managers and advanced manufacturing professionals. Within the scope of the conference, practical application examples for the integration of "Learning Factories" and "Industry 4.0" technologies into vocational education were shared.
Acknowledgements and Evaluation
This activity has been highly productive in terms of developing our school's technical vision and strengthening our international collaborations within the scope of the DGVET-30 project.
Beyond the technical reviews, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude to our dear friends Mikel and Mireia, who hosted us in the best possible way and supported us at every stage of the process with their sincere and friendly approach. We believe that this strong cooperation has established a solid foundation for our future projects.
